So the "Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth" (Calgary Stampede) is over and the timing couldn't have been more perfect. I just got my new Canon 30D and 24-105 IS USM lens early last week. I did my reserch on photographing fireworks, and got out my tripod, scoped out a location that I thought would be great.
And this is what I got...
As you can see it was a beautiful view, but it turned out to be a little too close to the fireworks. They were breath-taking. My hubby and I agreed they topped Canada Day on Parliment Hill, if you can belive that!?
